Pet Policy

At North Devon Resort we love pets and do our best to provide accommodation and facilities that are pet-friendly, ensuring the whole family can take a break together.

If you plan on bringing a pet, please familiarise yourself with our Pet Policy below.

  • It is imperative that you let us know at the time of booking that you wish to bring a pet. We
    have a limited number of pet-friendly apartments and need to ensure that we allocate these
    correctly.
  • Pets are most welcome in pet-friendly accommodation. There is a charge of £35 for up to 2
    pets.
  • If you arrive with a pet but we have not been advised in advance, we will check to see if we have a pet-friendly apartment available. If we do, then then you will be allocated a suitable apartment but the pet charge will rise to £50. If we do not have a pet friendly apartment available, we reserve the right not to honour the booking.
  • If you arrive with a pet and we have not been advised in advance and we do not have a pet-friendly apartment available, we will not be able to accommodate you. A refund of your booking will not be offered.
  • Unless prior approval is obtained guests cannot have more than 2 pets per apartment.
  • Registered Guide Dogs stay with us for free but you must inform us at the time of booking
    that you wish to bring a guide dog.
  • Pets must be fully trained and appropriately restrained by you as the owner.
  • Pets are allowed inside communal areas in designated areas only and must be kept on a lead. Pets cannot enter any of the carpeted areas.
  • Pets must not be left unattended. If you require a pet-sitter or pet supplies, you should
    contact Reception with advance notice.
  • As the owner of the pet you are responsible for cleaning up after your pet around the Resort
    and in the surrounding neighbourhood.
  • Any disturbances such as barking must be curtailed to ensure other guests are not
    inconvenienced.
  • You must contact the housekeeping department to arrange for a convenient time for
    servicing your apartment (for stays of four nights or more). Please request this via reception.
  • You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Resort, its owners and its operator from all
    liability and damage suffered as a result of your pet.
